Looking for a partner in SW Ohio
Greetings all. I am a new member, but I have browsed here for a couple of years. I have a very small affiliate income that was generated 2-3 years ago and is still paying me a little residual, so I have a grasp of what you're doing.
I also write content (but that's a subject for a post I will put in the proper forum once I clean up this current run of unsold articles I have started).
I live in Dayton, OH. I would like to find an established poker affiliate marketer who lives nearby, as the promotions I have in mind involve local games. I think it would be an advantage if we could meet to discuss marketing ideas, you could help convert live players, et cetera.
Note that I am not talking about underground games. I have no desire to be involved in illegal activities. I am talking strictly about no-rake social games.
In general, I will provide and promote to players. You will run the affiliate operation in the context of your current business. There are lots of other related ideas here that are not appropriate for a forum (yet, anyway).
Once this business venture has begun, I intend to invest 15-30 hours per week, so it is something I am taking quite seriously. It will be done in my free evening time, though, and since it is poker, it will be a labor of love.
I am not asking for a money investment. Your only investment will be a little of your time and expertise.
Obviously someone based in Dayton would be best, but Cincinnati or Columbus or surrounding areas might do as well.
An approximate timeline is to begin promotion in late summer/early fall, perhaps October 1, so there is time to flesh out a decent business plan.
