Default Poker Funds Transfer site

Hello all,

Yesterday i posted asking if anyone could exchange my paypal funds for some stars money. Noone has replied as yet.

I have never done this before or had the need to until now but can see how it may be a common problem for a lot of people.

Is this legal to do and are there no sites offering the service?

If there are no sites offering it i am deffinetly going to make one as long as it's legal to do.

I have read whilst doing a bit of research today that people can cancel the paypal transaction and get the money returned, but again i know nothing about this. If that's the case could i not just receive their funds in my account and then transfer them again to another hence making it impossible for them to get the funds back in a underhanded way?

Any thoughts appreciated.

Great idea! I don't know anything about legal issues, but if you manage to get this site up, I'll definitely use it!

Would be nice to see that site but undergoing maintenance and no threads showing in the forum.

Is that for forum members to transfer to each other though i.e stars to ftp?

If so it's not the same principle.

Thanks

It's a site that allows you to transfer money between sites. Infact it is up for sale.

Is it yours?

I'm never really interested in buying other peoples sites as i prefer to do them myself, however if the price is right i might buy it anyway.

if i do decide to build a site for this purpose i would probably use thebankrollers.com and allow people to send me money via, paypal, neteller, moneybookers, stars, tilt.

In exchange for paypal, neteller, moneybookers, stars, tilt and any more i can think of.

Thanks again for the info and feedback.

It's probably a lot more trouble than its worth. First there is a lot of sites that already cater to this. Second there is a shitload of scammers out there, and no matter how careful you try to be you WILL get scammed. Third poker rooms don't like you using their transfer option to do something like this.

If you're in the USA I'm pretty sure that is illegal, as you are basically a financial institution that is processing payments to online poker rooms.
