Mac Tracking & Marketing Codes
We have seen some great results since the introduction of Marketing Codes.
Your Marketing Code is the same as your tracker id. For Example, if your tracker id is pawsubxxx, then pawsubxxx is also the Marketing Code that your players will need to enter to be linked to you as an affiliate. When players are creating an account, there will be an option How did you hear about PokerStars? There is a box here to enter the Marketing Code.
The PokerStars.com Mac beta client is now available for players to download. Until the client is fully tested it will not support cookie tracking. You can however send Mac players to the Mac download page and be tracked as their affiliate by asking that the players enter your Marketing Code when signing up. You would send players to the link:

Flash Banner Tool & VIP Program
PokerStars answer to rakeback the best online poker rewards program.
More play means more points which means more rewards. Our VIP program even includes a VIP calculator so players can work out what percentage they are getting back in cash, and other rewards by their estimated play time. February Deposit Bonus
Players can now use the code STARS2008 when they make their first deposit to get the standard 100% up to $50 bonus, as well as entry into daily $500 freerolls. Once they deposit players receive a ticket which can be used as many times as they like in the $500 freerolls. Everyone who finishes in the money gets a ticket to the $10k final. Freerolls run up to February 23. Please note that the bonus code is different to your Marketing Code.
The Marketing Code is the code that players enter when signing up, thus linking them to you as an affiliate. The bonus code is used when making a first deposit, when the player is already linked to you.
Please note that the new standard deposit bonus for 2008 is FIRST2008.
EPT Live
The next leg of the European Poker Tour will be the EPT Copenhagen. We will be broadcasting live from February 22-23. As affiliates, you have the opportunity to use the live video feed on your website. This is a TV- quality production, and commentary will be available in English, German, French, Dutch and Italian.
