PokerProForAYear is a new joint promotion between Pacific Poker and PokerNews. As a PokerAffiliateWorld affiliate, you will have the ability to promote this to your readers as well. The PokerProForAYear League has already commenced and will run until December 5. The League will culminate in a ten-player offline Final, to be held at a secret location and webcast on PokerNews.com. PokerProForAYear will offer players the chance to win over $150,000 in prizes, and the winner of the Final will receive full sponsorship from PokerNews and Pacific Poker into four major poker tournaments in 2008.

The PokerProForAYearLeague is divided into six eight-week series. Each series consists of seven $10+$1 buyin tournaments, one $500 freeroll, and one Global Freeroll (requirements apply) which will offer one package to a major poker tournament such as EPT Dortmund, WPT Grand Prix de Paris, WSOP, EPT Baden, or the Aussie Millions. Players are eligible to receive points for each League event they play in, as well as bonus points for participating in any buyin tournament at Pacific Poker.

At the end of each Series, the top ten points leaders for the Series will play off for a seat in the PokerProForAYear Final. At the end of the year, the overall points leader will also receive a PokerProForAYear Final seat, and the last three places in the PokerProForAYear Final will be decided through a freeroll for the top 100 overall points leaders. All ten players in the PokerProForAYearFinal will receive flights and accommodation (plus excellent hospitality) at the secret tournament location.

Players are able to join the PokerProForAYear League at any time, and with our Series format, anyone can make the PokerProForAYear Final no matter when they start!
