If you order for example a whole website to be translated i can do this for you for only $0.15 per word, which is really cheap compared to figures that other translators tell you. It always depends, if you order a very high volume translation we could even talk about another discount.

Regarding payment, Neteller or Moneybookers would be perfect. For small translations whole payment upfront, for high volume/whole websites etc. 50% upfront, 50% after completing the translation please.
