Default Poker strategy content for sale

Greetings. I am a new member here, who joined for two reasons:

1) To learn more about affiliation for a project I have in mind for later this year, and

2) To offer strategy content to affiliates.

Since I'm new here, I'll first gain some credibility:

Quote:
Just wanted to post here that a new member named rich just did 10 poker articles for me.

I am very happy with the quality and timely delivery.
That's from Holis in this thread. The thread also contains a few samples. I will gather other samples and include them in this thread when I can.

Background:

I was a daily columnist for a site for several months in 2006, and although I lost that gig due to UIGEA (most of their players were Americans), I look back on it fondly as some of the most enjoyable work I've ever done. Since a lot of you don't have the time, inclination, or expertise to write your own content, I am glad to fill that gap.

Strategy articles are my primary focus. I'm not big on news, gossip, book reviews, or site reviews, although I will do them as part of a larger project. I do like writing "lighter side" humorous articles.

I have been semi-pro for four years or so, so I know of what I speak. I'm not professional because I don't have the patience to play more than 15-20 hours per week. Fortunately, my play yields me a nice side income.

I write:

MTT strategy
SNG strategy
cash strategy
Omaha strategy
psychology
mathematics/odds
bankroll management
humor/lighter side

Most of my articles are multi-part. I think this is good, as it keeps readers coming back for more. It also allows you to create internal links. My stuff is keyword rich, but not at the expense of readability. I have several articles make the first page of google searches for specific word combinations, and one of my articles is linked on a wikipedia page (and I didn't link it; I don't know if the site owner did).

All of my articles are 100% original. I get an idea, research it, and pound out the article, all from my tiny little brain.

I write in a mix of first person (storytelling), second person (instructive), and third person, but I do not mix approaches in the same article when not appropriate. My style is generally conversational. I do like to use "big words," because I feel that occasional use of higher vocabulary gives the article/site a slightly more intelligent air (something that is often sadly missing from the online poker world). I do try to explain obscure poker terminology.

I write articles in three ways:

1) I write an article on spec and post its availability in this thread. You send me a PM to buy, I send you a Word .doc attachment by email after payment. If you don't have Word, get Open Office.

2) You order an article or series of articles with unspecified topics. You specify approximate length. I PM you topics and suggested payment terms.

3) You order an article/series with specific topics and lengths. Same terms.

Buyers get exclusive rights to publish the article online only, in English only. Translation rights are available and assigned separately. Sorry, American English is my native language, and although I can habla and parler and sprechen a few words in other languages, I am not proficient enough to translate for you.

Re-edit for clarification. I've gotten several questions about this.

The article is for your 100% exclusive use. I am aware of the duplicate content issues you face. You need not be concerned that the article you purchase will show up somewhere else online (unless, of course, someone steals it off your site, in which case both you and I have issues with the thief). I will not re-sell an article, period.

I reserve translation and print rights not because I intend to re-use the article, but only because I do not want someone profiting from my work by re-selling it. I certainly hope you profit by using it to increase your online presence!

Rates are generally per word, slightly higher for shorter articles, slightly lower for repeat customers or high-volume jobs. Rates are slightly higher for articles requiring intense research/calculations. Sample prices are listed in a post below.

Anybody who buys, please share the link when you post, so others can see samples, and you get a one-way link

First PMed, first served. I will check PMs at least every other day while I have articles for sale. Payment by Paypal or Pokerstars accepted. If you want to use Paypal, PM me your paypal email and I'll invoice you. Upon payment, I will email articles (advise if you want a different email address for that).

I will perform re-writes if you have a major beef with the content after receiving it.

Pre-written articles for sale, March 29: (If you don't like what you see here, I have a dozen more close to completion that I will post ASAP)

Would not delay too long Rich - quality content is a key (if not the key) ingredient of a successful affiliate business and it looks like you have some great stuff there...

Cheers, Mark

Thank you. I noticed your posts when I started there, and read some of your reviews. Good stuff. Perhaps we can trade a strategy article for a room review at some point.

Kind words, and good advice. Perhaps I should start sooner rather than later. My primary focus was going to be offline, not online, marketing (feeling that online marketing is saturated), but perhaps I'll pick a targeted area of my stuff and create a specialized site.

Just ordered the Dealing With Bad Beats series, and I have to say I'm very impressed. At $40 an article I was unsure if it would be worth it, but Rich's quality and timely responses were more then worth the cost. Thanks again!
