Default Don't say P a y **** P a l in your posts

For general protection of all of our abilities to use a certain ewallet service, let's stop using the word *Pal in our posts and thread titles. If one of you is busted for transferring funds related to gambling, everyone you've done a transfer with could come under suspicion.

I recommend *Pal, because PP is taken, but really, anything would work. The whole idea is probably a but paranoid, but better safe than sorry. Besides *Pal is shorter anyway.

I already suggested this but nothing changed. I would think the chances are higher than 50% that something negative comes out of this.

Alternatively, Jeremy could install a modification that changes the word to a shortened version or if a mod doesnt exist, create it.

Very wise . I've often wondered why the forum has allowed it to be mentioned only because of pals policy .

Sorry, just a general statement.
There are a ton of new posts here with pay titles.

I think people don't understand how serious this could be. Pay has a history of locking peoples account for 6 months to investigate when they feel something is against TOS. It might be rare but they do this and I've had my account locked over a year once.

Here's the problem. I buy an article from one of the good writers here. Later that person is found soliciting gambling transfers. If Pay locks their account for a 6 month security freeze guess what? If I don't transfer with many people.. my account most often gets locked too.

No big deal right? Well kinda were left at the mercy of pay to make the right decision and pay is not a bank and theire TOS is writen in such a way that you break there rules, they can get away with stealing your money if they wanted to.

Bottom line = breaking pay rules is high risk. Buyers who do businesses with people they no break pay rules are taking on medium risk as well.

I'm not saying this because I care so much about the rules, I just see the way things have been going here, your going to see pay shut down one of these guys soon and see a chain reaction and people will think, freak I wish i knew, or wish I listened to that then.p

Actually, I'm pretty sure given time this thread, with half of us using one half of the word and half using the other half should come up in searches + poker either way.

But, I don't want to keep this thread going either, because I LOVE the convience.

Hey guys, thanks for the suggestion. That makes a lot of sense actually, Sorry for the delay getting this sorted.

I installed a find/replace plugin and I believe it is working properly now. Paypal , paypal, PayPal.........

Currently it is just working in the posts and not the post titles though, I'll see if I can figure it out or just go back and edit all the titles.

Cheers.
