Default How is everyone getting there?

I was looking at flights today for a friend who might be coming with me and saw there were a few recommended options on getting to Cyprus from North America. What we did was book a round trip to the UK through London and then found a cheap flight from London to Cyprus and back.

Anyone else coming from outside the States and found a method that works well for both cost and time?

I fly from Malaga Spain. Easyjet is cost effective with just one stop to London and then to Cyprus. But the way back is not good, as i would need to sit 7 hours in the airport to get a flight back... No thanks.

So i opted to fly with KLM, with an extra stop: it flies Malaga-Madrid-Amsterdam-Paphos. I prefer to stay in a plane rather than in an empty airport at night.

Also this combination enables me to stay a bit longer until the 22nd in the afternoon (i can't do it through spring break). Easyjets flights from Cyprus to London are way too early in the morning

I am taking a straight flight from Los Angeles to London Heathrow and then hoping an Air Cyprus flight to Limmasol. It's actually not too bad for me considering the distance. The only question on my mind is how will Terminal 5 be at that point!

Fly to Athens or Istanbul. There are several flights from both of those cities.
