Default Need help with this loss of PR

I'm trying to figure out why one of my sites took such a tumble in the PR rankings this last update. www.pokersatellitecenter.com is the site and it used to be a PR3 ranking on the home page.

All I have done since then is add content to my site and really have not changed anything on the main page at all.

Any thoughts?

Also, I know the site does not work in firefox, if anyone can help me fix this I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

smackDog

I can't say for sure about the PR but the site looks really bad in firefox and some things seems off even in Internet Explorer 7. The page is also very slow, and the underline disappear instead of appearing when you hover the top links.. seems strange. The site seems unstable, you should clean up the code. Also why do you have some of the main images such as the logo as background images? The logo should be clickable and link to the site I think. I must say the colours you have choosen are nice though

Maybe go ask the people over at seochat. I have seen them plenty of times analyze other people's sites to see if they can figure it out. I am sure they would be happy to lend you a hand, not to mention you can also post on the google webmasters help boards. They to do the same thing

If the site still ranks for phrases it could just be a glitch with the toolbar PR. Another possibility is that it only has links from pages that don't pass PR. (I've seen speculation that Google doesn't pass PR from every page on the Internet.) If it's the latter, then all you need to do is get more links from more pages.

If anything, you might have been penalised for hidden text.

Oooohhh, that is a good thought there edmc. I did just read the other day about hidden text not being good for google.

I bought this template and now it seems it is being more of a pain in the ass then it is worth. looks like I will be going for a complete redesign of this site by a true designer.

Thanks for the help everyone,

SmackDog
