Default submitting articles

There are alot of different sites you can submit articles to but what is the best strategy? I have a nice article I want to submit...should I submit the same article to all of them or change it a little for each one? Also, if anyone has a list of the best sites to submit gambling related articles to please post here. Thanks

ezinarticle is what I am using. I change it up each time so I am not sure if it's right or not but I figure than I am getting unique articles out there rather than dup's

I have just started using ezinearticles. I put a post in a forum a while back and the response I got back was that ezinearticles was the site to head for. My original post was about prweb and ezinearticles seemed to be the preferred site. Who else has had good experiences with ezinearticles? I am writing unique content for the site noting duplicated from my own site.

Do they post most articles? I guess if they didnt post your article then you could just post it on your own site so it wont go to waste. What articles do you think are in the most demand at the moment? I would expect any articles to do with UIGEA are very high demand.

Ezinearticles is definitely the article directory with the most traffic. I guess if your looking for traffic from your articles then they are definitely #1 on the list. I know that the more articles you write and submit the better.

From a SEO perspective wouldn't it make more sense to have your articles submitted to an article site dedicated to your topic? For example xxwww.pokerzines.com.
You are placing links in your articles. Wouldn't those links in your articles be more valuable if the articles themselves were placed on poker or gambling related sites?

Thats what I always thought but according to that guy that runs poker-seo.com all links are the same, atleast for google. I guess he could be wrong but he seems like he knows his stuff. Here is a quote fron his site:

Quote:
An additional flaw of Google is its very poor handling of theme or topic. In this case the theme would be "poker", plus related concepts like card games and gambling. A link to a poker site from a poker site should be viewed as considerably more valuable than a link to a poker site from a jewelry site, or worse, a network of random link sellers. But sadly, for the most part, with Google "a link is a link". This leads to quite a few very below average quality sites managing to rank well for a wide variety of terms. Circa 2002, Google did a reasonable job detecting topical niches, but these days the source of a link seems to not matter. (Another example is the hacked .edu sites which can rank #1 for poker terms entirely from guestbook and blog comment links, without a single link from a poker-related domain.)
The full story is here

Ok, so far we have ezinearticles, prweb and pokerzines. Any others worth mentioning?

Forgot to mention goarticles. I have had some good results with their site.

Keep in mind that it is easy to get sucked into the hype of article marketing. There are people always trying to sell some article submitter program that will submit your articles to thousands of directories. I hope we all know better than this. Many of the article sites that those programs submit to are spammed to the point of no return.

I would say your best bet is to find a few good sites, submit your articles, and not submit exact copies to every directory just to be on the safe side (for duplicate content).
