Helpful tools in SEO works

Hi guys,
I am interesting wthat tools do use in your seo-works. In my opinion a lot things you can try automate and save time.
If you are going reach the top positions it's often required a tons of time but probably in long term the key for succes is automate simply activities. It's nothing fun If you have to work for 12 hours everey day.

For me, the most helpful tool so far:

- Now I am looking for simply but efficient script (system) for menage my links exchange (like check reciptional link but also tracking the webmaster mail contacts)

- Some kind of simply and customize link directory, witch automate check reciptional links

- tool for tracking and raport my google positions
