How long does it take until Google finds links pointing to me

So I did get a few backlinks, did some press releases (paid and unpaid) in the last three weeks, but the Google toolbar still doesnt show any links pointing to my site(s).
How long does is usually take until Google finds these links ?

Have you checked in webmaster tools? Google can be bit slow at this type of thing, they probably know all about your links but they're not telling you yet - try yahoo, they're quicker and more comprehensive.

Google updates backlinks at specific times. It can take up to 2-3 months..

Edit: Try Alltheweb also, they are much faster than Google.

What the Google toolbar shows about your site has little to do with what Google actually knows about your site. If your pages are indexed in Google, then it's found at least some of your links.
