indexing and Webmaster tools

I have been waiting for some pages to show up in Googles index, and so far they are not however my webmaster tools shows these pages with links to them. Would it just be a delay in Google index since they are showing in the tools?

no one really knows what is going on with google but here is a tip for any internal page you want to be indexed, make a few incomming links from other outside websites. works for me every time!

I remember how hard it was to get internal pages indexed when I first started my site. Nowadays anything I link to gets indexed almost immediately. I think the best bet is to find something that google crawls all the time, get a link there and you should be up in no time. An easy way to do this would be to start a blog where you talk about updates on your site and put the links to those pages. Since you will be updating the blog on a regular basis and google seems to love wordpress, google is more likely to continually crawl it.

Just a thought.

Thanks for the tips, google is updating like mad in my webmaster tools but I will try the blog thing. Noticing how quick they are at updating now vs say 6 mths ago. They indexed one of my redirect files so I immediatly went and ised the removal tool and by the next morning it was gone from listings.....
