Hosting multiple sites on one hosting account

I'm just upgrading, going w/2 dedicateds from different datacenters on each coast, same co. A couple IP's per.

Because Google and other search engines can tell if a site is on the same c-block or not.

I understand that, let me rephrase my question.

What I meant was why not class "A" or "B" IP addresses? Do people not understand the differences betweent them or is there supposedly something special about an IP address whose first octet is between 192 and 254?

It just means at least C... different class B would be better, different Class A is best.

Ok, that makes sense, and since there are a lot more class "C" addresses, it's more likely to be "c".
