Anyone willing to share the statistics of a month long campaign with one of the pay per click sites?

where you did it, how much you paid, for what words, your page ranking, how many clicks you got, total cost for the month, return of investment figures sort of stuff

I've got around $300 to $400 a month to spend on PPC stuff, just wondering how far this will realisticly get me

trying to get miva to approve me. Give up on yahoo or google - they will not accept ads unless you got friends that work for them. Miva is the best shot. mostly losing money in PPC for some reason. noone wants to deposit.

Having friends working at Yahoo or Google will not get you approved if your ad doesn't meet their guidelines.

I may be wrong, but I am not sure anyone will tell you success stories, but some may suggest words that do not work.

I have marketed at nearly every PPC Engine out there, with great success. The trick for you is to find the right niche to market to, and work to maximise your profit. Do not go for the most popular words (poker/online poker etc), as the price will be very high, and the fraud along with it, making it very unprofitable.

Some words which have worked in the past include:
Poker black jack
online poker room
online poker site
online poker tournament
online casino poker
play poker online
poker online
virtual poker
on line poker
poker web site

Again, I have not marketed to the engines for about 6-12 months, so things will have changed, but the above are good examples of the sorts of word to look for....

You should try and track your profitability per word (or groups of words). How many Players have they brought? Have they signed up with you, or one of the poker rooms? Which rooms? The number of people to your site is no proof of it working.... It's what they do when they get there that will decide your profitability.
