Does anyone know if Google gives more credit or weight to a shorter title?

Yes it does.
Keywords are rated and ranked according to their position (closest to the front) and also according to their density.
So if you have a short title and only a few related keyword thern google can be pretty sure that your page is about "Party Poker Bonus".
Of course that's only a small part of the battle. Then you need :
- good content with the magic mix of keyword density.
- good links with good anchor text to that page
- some site authority on this subject ...
But in general I agree with Kaus ... "Keep things short sweet and straight to the point." ... as this will mean that it ranks as well as it can for these words.
(whether that's enough for your site to be in the top 10 is a whole different matter - but you've given it your best shot).
But that's just my opinion ...
