Default Switching Server Question

Just wondering if any of you guys/gals have had to go through with a hosting switch, and if there were any problems that occured during the switch.

I am totally sick of being on a shared server with joe viagra and peter porn constantly overloading the server and causing all of my sites to be down.

If anyone can assist me with any advice you have on switching servers and if there is anything to worry about in terms of google finding your site at the new server it would me greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Switching servers should be no problem. Just be sure to leave the old site up for a week or so after the actual switch.

i use midphase where its really easy to upgrade servers. They're a great company that has shared, vps, and dedicated. when you want to change you simply have them upgrade, its a pretty seamless deal with no worries.

basically the advice when starting out on a shared server is to choose a host that has multiple options of hosting and has good customer service. midphase is a solid choice. midphase aff link

also, i guess midphase is stationed in USA. so that may not be the best option for non us affiliates cuz where your hosting is stationed does reflect on the speed of your site from the view of foreign users. i have noticed that my site is super fast for USA based viewers, but have been told by foreign that it loads pretty slow

If looking for a host that offers alot of options and good customer service i would avoid reviews, maybe checkout webhosting talk. you can usually get lots of good info over there about all kinds of services.
