indexing question

Okay, I was doing the whole site:www.yoursite.com thing in all the search engines to see how mine is indexed, and it is just way off.

When I do it for someone elses site, it is nice and neat and displays all their indexed pages as "site name: indexed page" and it does that for every page they have.

When I do it for rake shark though, it only brings up a few of my pages, and it isnt nice and neat like i see everyone elses. Meaning it doesnt come up

"Rakeshark: blah blah blah"

well the home page does but then everything else is screwed up.

What do I need to do to get my page indexed properly?

You have flash navigation, so you are hiding your current pages from the bots.

You have a contact.htm page and a contact.php page, etc, so all duplicates may be removed.

How many pages does the site have?

Well I just converted to php because of the login database, so there is duplicates at the moment

There is 15 to 20 pages for sure, I cant access my online file folder at this exact moment, but it just seems like nothing is really showing up in the SE's

Well right. The flash navigation hides the pages. If you want the bots to find the pages, get rid of the flash.

Also, if you have switched to php, delete all the htm pages.

alright, will do...I will get rid of html....but i love my flash....not sure if i can part with that...nothing has as sharp of colors as SWF's and that is the problem I have..

If you keep the flash, you won't get any pages indexed except the main page.

Create a sitemap that is linked from your home page, and link to each page of your site from it. That'll at least get your pages indexed.
