Not sure if there are better tools available than this one but you can check all the links going to any website. http://seopro.com.au/free-seo-tools/link-checker/

There is also a tool on the same site where you can check what rank you are in the search engines for the keywords you type in. I am unsure of the accuracy of this however.

If anyone has other tools that do the same thing it would be good to see them.
