strange search results on google

I did a search today for party poker bonus code and got some strange results. The teamfu site was no where.

Among other sites that didn't seem that great were:
http://students.washington.edu/shanus/
http://party-poker-bonus.latinowebs.com/

Any ideas how they made it up there?

teamfu doesn't exist anymore. He changed to tightpoker.com

The shanus one is making good use of an .edu page. The other one is a typical subdomain spammer that probably will be gone soon.

Interesting how the first result, pokertips.org is an excellent result, while the next one, the ezboards spammer, is a miserable one (that Google hasn't picked up on yet).

I'm pretty sure the dude using ezboards is also beejack.com and potentially pokerbull.com and/or slick777.com.

Gotta say that ezboards move has really lasted.

Curious as to why teamfu would change everything to tight poker? Wouldn't they loose the majority of their backlinks, SEO ranking and name recognition?

Seems like a huge step backwards to me.

I also wonder how the .edu page got ranked that high? are .edu domains just that much more seo valuble?
