outbound links

Hello,

Most sites have a page with a list of outbound links, this is normal in order to do link exchange.

But I noticed some sites, mostly pr4, without it, and no obvious way to find it. question: is it hidden, or they dont have oubound. example:

of course I mean outbound except to poker site he is affiliate of.

What I mean is:

a/ is it me who cannot find the external links page?
b/ is the link page hidden (not accessible from internal links)?
c/ is it possible to not have outbound links and high pr as a poker aff.?
d/ I missed something obvious?
d/ none of the above?
e/ all of the above?
f/ some of the above?

Websites don't have to have a page with a majority of outbound links. (i.e - links page) Many people do this, but it is not required by anyone.

Many successful webmasters simply link to a resource when it helps with the article or content on the page. For instance, an article on Calculating Omaha Odds may want to include a link to an Omaha calculator if they don't have one on that site. This provides the user with additional information that is of interest to them and actually enhances their experience with that topic.

You can also see what other sites like launchpoker.com link to by using an outbound link checker. There are some free tools out there that can give you an idea.

My site and blog (homepage and some internal pages) are PR2... down from PR3 after doing a major face lift. And I never exchange links.

Link trading is way over used and over rated IMO.

Just work on lots of good content and use solid SEO strategies and let the rest look after itself.

I mean I was doing directory listing, but all the free ones request link exchange plus the url to check their link.
