New google WIKI vote for terms
Google now allows people to vote you up or down like digg.com. I suggest we form a term booster and exchange boosting each other!

I have it as well, you have to be logged in to your gmail account to see it.
From http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2008/...-your-own.html
"The changes you make only affect your own searches. But SearchWiki also is a great way to share your insights with other searchers. You can see how the community has collectively edited the search results by clicking on the "See all notes for this SearchWiki" link."
So I'm not sure this will affect search engine results for other users if you start to boost your own site.

I read this and know it only affect our searches, but, if you go on to read whole thing it says that in future that may change. I used Swicki for years until they deleted on of my main accounts for no reason. Google was very jealous of Swickis features and found them as a potential threat and would limit them once a month.
So I think we should start boosting each other now. We should only agree to do if we like each other sites. If we are going for same term it wont matter because we will negate each others vote.
Watcha think?

I'm not sure if I like this, if Google will make this a part of search engine results.
It's good from the point of view that the users can boost good sites, but Google will see a massive increase in new email accounts being created from people trying to boost rankings using multiple accounts.
I can just see it in front of me. A company in India is offering you 1,000,000 "boost clicks" for $9,99 or something.

I think they might pick it up via there goe/ip tracking and those 1 million clicks might not mean anything.

Anyone know how to disable this? It screws up one of my SEO plugins.

I think logging out of your Gmail or Google account will remove the little arrows, but I'm not entirely sure.
Thanks for bringing this up though. Personalized search is going to become more and more important over time.
One opportunity that everyone should focus on (and I've said it before) is "local".

I mean totally disable it. I'm always logged into my Gmail so it's always there.
