MSN Changes Link Numbers

I was checking my link number today on MSN, and while it had been something like 300 or 400 for the past couple of weeks, all of a sudden it dropped down to 45 or so. I know that even when MSN listed 400 on the first page, it would actually only show 35 or 40 links. I am assuming that this is normal?
