Making a New Site Questions

I am making a new site and want some SEO advice on what I can do starting from scratch to make sure I don't do any seo mess ups that will kill all. I am reading around everywhere trying to make it very good for SEO stuff cause this site could be huge. Also, what's the best way to get in the search engines fast?

p.s and I am going to really focus on what randy says and am going to make it a content driven site first

I recommend reading Brett Tabke's article 26 steps to 15k per day.

Write good stuff.

Then make sure that you don't link to crappy sites.

Do those 3 things and you're already ahead of 95% of the sites on the web.

Randy tell your wife because your such a role model and good influence that she needs to cook you a steak dinner tonight and give you the royal treatment............see how that goes over. When in doubt just refer back to the Good Wife's Guide located somewhere in the cocktail lounge!

On a serious note however it really is true that if you want to do well in the SE's you have to be constantly adding content and keeping your homepage fresh.

Here at PartyRiches we see a great deal of SE traffic and it is all because we are constantly adding content. Having an active forum with pertinent content to the site helps us, but obviously everyone doesn't have that luxury.

Amazingly though we also get a lot of traffic just from the articles, news, and featured sites. I try to practice what I preach and add news, articles, or some type of content almost on a daily basis and trust me it works. Since the launch of the new PartyRiches and bringing Randy on board, our traffic has grown exponentially.

So if your not doing as well in the SE's as you would like to do, take an honest look at how hard you are working on your content. Going out and getting quality backlinks is only a small piece of the puzzle.
