Homepage pr2, rest of site pr3?

I really went crazy with the deep links on my new site so I'm assuming this is why my homepage is pr2 while almost every other page in the site is pr3.

Is this a horrible thing? Or does it even matter?

Also, a link to my link partners is at the bottom of every page on the site. Is this a good idea? Or am I losing too much pr by doing this?

It's not horrible. I'm guessing most of your content (articles, reviews, etc) are on the subpages you deep-linked to, and that's probably where the majority of your visitors are going to enter your site through.

As for the links on the bottom of each page... it probably isn't terrible, but I personally wouldn't do it like that. Make a link page and link to that from each page of your website. More PR will go to your pages that way, but your link partners will be happy as well.

I wasn't very clear. I have a link from every page to my link page. But from your response I take it that's acceptable

It could be that you have keywords like sex, p*orn, gambling and other words that aren't in the text of your main page. When I was completely new I tohught it would bring more visitors to use these words ;-)

Fortunately that's not the case. My site is 100% white hat.

Thankfully I found Party Riches before creating my site and read literally every single post from Jeremy and Randy. They saved me from making some very bad mistakes
