In other words, a php site constructed like a html site makes no differnce.

An alternative to URL length and URL variable issues is mod-rewrites. This is where you can have yourdomain.com/poker-room-reviews.php?id=55 as yourdomain.com/party-poker-review or yourdomain.com/party-poker


As a php developer I am a strong believer in php powered CMS. You can't go wrong using php, just make sure to do it the best absolute way.

Below links don't work, but right now every article on my site is:

With a unique ID. as shown.

I was going to go through and change them all to something like:

http://www.theultimatecasinoguide.com/article.php?story=party_poker_review

However in reading this, would it be better to get something set up like:

http://www.theultimatecasinoguide.com/click.cgi?Party_Poker_Review

Or should I go straight to:

http://www.theultimatecasinoguide.com/Party-Poker-Review

Any tips on the last part?
