I think google is going downhill from a users point of view. You rarely get what you are looking for and these days I find myself googling something, and then going to MSN or yahoo to verify that there is not a better result out there, usually there is... I don't trust google that much any more.
Prime example, I was trying to explain in work yesterday to two non english speaking people what a "fan" was. Its kind of difficult actually, anyway I resorted to google, took me about 20 atempts with different phrazes before I gave up and went to google images for a picture of one...

1st time ive come accross that google trends thing, it seems strange for me that "poker" is searched more in norweigen than it is in english, considering the population of norway is like 5million

That's not what it means...

"Google Trends calculates the ratio of searches for your term coming from each city divided by total Google searches coming from the same city."

It's a ratio.
