google index question

Just would like to know how it is possible that i have a site that is 6 monts old and is not indexed by google - even thou it has a lot of content and links pointing to it - and on another note today it just got a pr of 4 but it is still not indexed?

It's difficult to answer your question without knowing what site are we talking about. It seems Google 'doesn't like' your site for one reason or another. I've never waited for more than a week for my sites to get indexed after putting a decent link to them. Provide me with the url so maybe I can be more helpful...

i was thinking it was something like that - but if they do not like it why would they give it a pr4 in todays update?

Without a link, how can anyone tell? Could be a lot of reasons.

PR is a stange thing, I have a site on the first page of Google for dozens of search terms related to the subject. The PR however just dropped a point with the latest update. This is despite the fact that the site gained over 66 pages of DEEP content and quality inbound links.

I personally could care less about PR as long as my traffic is there.

What term are you searching for your site for? poker? If your site has traffic and PR It is indexed, if you have webstats you can see for what term.

im searching the site for by its name, and do not wish to make it public at this time but im searching for it as www.example.com , then google tells me sorry no nformation is available for that url then it says if the url is valid visit the page by clicking the site and it goes to the site - but i look at the sites pr and it is a 4 - thas what i find weird how can they give a site pr with out it being indexed - anyway i sent the question to google itself and am awaiting there response

but your site name is redirected....and you are redirecting it to another site which is your page, but not actually your site, so the PR comes from the site that that page belongs to.

As i said in my first post it is not any site in my sig it is completly different site , it is not my forum which goes to a proboard - it is a different site - I have emailed google about it - when they respond ill letyo all know why it was
