Goog Update ?!

Yep, the update is taking place. Look here http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank to see your PR on different datacenters. Here http://66.102.7.99/ http://66.102.7.104 I've noticed updated backlinks listings.

This time (as opposed to last couple of updates, when month old sites were getting PR5) only old solid domains improved their page rank. I finally got PR5 for my main site On the other hand, new (one, two months old) domains or recently optimizes sites did not improve their PR.

I have a site that is two months old and showing PR3 on those DCs. However, you are right about the older sites, my main site hasn't had any movement in 2 updates and now it's showing updates (finally!)

Google PR 6 baby for the http://www.BroadbandPoker.com homepage. Shows PR 6 in about 30% of the datacenters now.

It's been a steady climb, but I guess all this seo stuff does work a bit.

N1 Bryan I checked your site for link popularity and it's not that big yet your jump from pr4 to pr6 is really impressive. Did you get any ultra-high-quality links like DMOZ or Yahoo recently?

Does this mean that from this point on anything done to a site will not be included for its PR until next update?

I have some things I still want to update content wise and SEO wise before the update. Hopefully Im not too late

Rounder, I'd like to clarify one thing: 'the real page rank' is updated on a daily basis, it's only 'the toolbar pagerank' that we get so excited about that is updated once every three months. So answering your question from toolbar pagerank perspective - yes, everything you do now will not effect the little green bar till the next update around Jan/Feb 2007.

It's probably to late. Don't worry though, because the visible pagerank doesn't have an effect on your rankings. A websites pagerank is actually always changing, they just don't show it.

Ya, I have some larger sites that link to me like PokerRoom, LiveattheBike and some other PR 6 and 7 sites, so that may be part of it.

Nonetheless I'll take it.

I am still in the process of getting more link backs, but currently have only been getting higher PR back links rather than the normal "link exchanges". Which I understand to be better anyways.
