Default Domain question

Is it bad to have a domain name cover three specific terms to help with SEO and then have sub pages of that...for example: www.pokerbonuscodesreviews.com and then also having http://www.pokerbonuscodesreviews.co...bonuscodes.htm ?

So my question is if it hurts or helps with Google to have the "keyword" in the URL more than once?

Thanks,
Jermey

Page titles will always help you, but people put way to much into the name of a domain. You don't need the keywords in it to rank well for that term, it's just 1 part of the hundreds of different factors that go into a site's rankings.

To more specifically answer your question I suppose it would help, but not too much. You will need a lot of quality links, authority links and good content before you start ranking for any worthwhile terms regardless of your domain name.

www.pokerbonuscodesreviews.com

I would make it www.poker-bonus-codes-reviews.com to separate the words.

but using something like www.poker-bonus-codes.com/bonus-codes-reviews.html you would probably lose a little because it is not a pure domain but still better if you want to have both pages indexed well

both of those are too long IMO. Go with something brandable instead like "bonusagent.com" and ditch the stuffed keywords.

Take a look at the results for "rakeback" and you'll find a site called Rakebrain.com among them. Has half the keyword in there, but I guarantee that it will be a #1 result with the way they are blitzing their content and backlinks.

Rakebrain, if you're reading this... you're doing a great job!

Ok, thanks for the input everyone!!

I have a couple new projects that I'm planning on starting shortly and I've decided to go with the shorter domain, like you guys suggested. I just read something about the keywords in the domain is best, so I decided what people had to say. So, I guess it would be the same as having...www.pokerbonus.com/keyword.htm...so I'll juss stick with this way.
