Default File Name Changes and Duplicate Content

Does changing the name of a file (i.e. gray-spades.html to black-spades.html) make the second file duplicate content of the first? This dilemna occurs occasionally for me when a poker room rebrands and I'd like to change the title of the page to match the new name without changing most of the content. I've held off on this previously for fear of duplicate content, but is this fear warranted?

Move it, and 301 one page to the new one. Or don't move it at all and just update all the information on the page, there may well be people looking for the old brand name still.
