I've been involved in sports betting for a long time. Half my friends in the mid 90's moved offshore to work for sportsbooks. I was a couple years to young to really capitalize on this. So, its not just random forum posters I hear the stories from. I know a lot of people personally that have had horrible experiences with them, including one of my Agent friends who was on a Gag order with them for a long time. I've known this kid since he we we're 7 years old and while he's involved in a shady industry he is as stand up of a guy you'll find in it. I know how sick he was for over a year while BetUS had him playing the role of a puppet.
Also many former employees have left BetUS and spoken out after realizing the shit their company does.
Details are a bit sketchy even though the incident occurred a few months ago, but many sites reported the BetUS owner being gunned down but missed and his Body Guards where shot while others report him having been beaten and left for dead. I'm not sure if this was over a sportsbook issue or not but I am sure there are a lot of people who have enough hate for BetUs to do something like this.
Two somewhat minor things in the grand scheme of their scam.
#1 Long history of slow pays.
#2 The find was to freeroll off minor rule violations - Things like players having a second account (players win they don't pay - players lose they don't refund) its and issue where they are sitting and waiting to see how a person does and if they'll loose the money because as long as they keep losing they won't close the account.
The Big Issue:
Players fortunate enough to hit a big score at BetUS rarely get paid. They are well known to work out partial payments over time so long as the person keeps their mouth shut, or simply just not pay and avoid the winner long term.
All the honest review sites have BetUS black listed, red listed, rated low, graded low w/e you want to call it on their site.
Meanwhile there are hundreds of sites who rank BetUS #1 because they pay the affiliate the most (Easy to pay affiliates a lot when you stiff the big winners, and find ways to cater only to losing players).
Anyways BetUS is one of the Internet's most successful scams and because there will always be dishonest affiliates willing to shill for the highest bidder the scam continues to claim new victims daily.
Losing bettors, who most people are, never lucky enough to score a big win usually LOVE and will defend BetUs as well. Saying things like I've never had a problem with them. But obviously when you never win $ and are getting comped left and right and treated like gold because you're a total fish you'll obviously rarely cash out and not know any different.
Also keep in mind when searching these sports forums, they are filled with shills. There are hundreds of employees fielding calls and sorts in some of these offices and I know at many companies staff is encouraged to populate popular sports forums between calls.
