After the Germany Turkey game I can't see Germany winning this now. Spain has still got this one in my opinion. I think whoever wins this semi final though has won the tournament.

Germany Turkey was a great game to watch.

It was a good game (Turkey v Germany) best ever 2004 Holland vs Czech Republic, if you haven't heard about this game look it up.

Now to the final, Spain will be missing Villa who is a major influence and with Torres up front, could be the down fall of Spain, although their midfield have been scoring well this Euro the German defense is very experienced.

The two goals Turkey scored were both from keeping errors and i expect that this will not happen again. Germany is deadly from set pieces as we have seen all Euro, therefore i will say Germany because Spain will have too much trouble controlling Klose up front (his aerial ability) and the Spanish midfield will be forced to play a game they are not accustom too.

I do hope Spain wins (long time between drinks for them) but i think Germany will.

Germany usually play a better game after a bad one, and if Germany play to their potential then I think they shall prevail.

However, anything less than Germany playing their best may see them on the losing end of it.

That said...

Germany 3 - Spain 2

Looks like we were both wrong CoolDog, Spain should have won 3 or 4 nil, they played the best most attractive football and in my mind deserved to win

Yeah, as a German fan I'm a bit disappointed, oh well.

Spain definitely deserved the win... so congratulations to Spain!

Only two years to wait for World Cup...

What can i say? Torres was pure class!

And did you see Lehmann try to take him out, as he jumped over?

Spain was definitely the better team. They are a worthy champion. For us Germans, there is still hope. We have a very young team which is still developing, with a few very talented young players coming up soon. I expect them to do very well in 2010. Besides, in 2010, we will have the best goalie I've seen in years as the no. 1 for Germany (Rene Adler)!
