Once we get the critical mass that we need in this tourney we can launch a real money tourney for these players or a leauge of some sort. This is where we need to get to. I can email all of our members through the forums but my fear is introducing a gaurunteed Ipod tourney with a $5 buy-in and having 7 people show up.

I will front the Ipod, cash or whatever though if we can get to that critical mass. I do think we are growing though and I am excited about it.

Bottom line though is that it is time to take this tourney to the next level and utilize the list and players we already have,

For those of you involved in this promotion, feel free to throw some ideas out there.

It's exciting to see the Paradiseipods growing like it is. I'm starting to see conversions and can only imagine that the conversions will increase when the buy-ins kick in. I encourage all the other promoters of this to really push this project (goldmine).

Jeremy, you asked for ideas, so I'll throw this out there. Perhaps during the run up to the $5 buy-in the first place prize for winning the weekly could include an entry into the $5 tourney. That would help publicize it and generate some interest perhaps.

Also, I think everyone participating in the promotion should participate in the $5 buy-in. That would put some fannys in the seats.

That is a great idea Chip. Let's say for example we schedule the $5 buy-in on the last Sunday of every month. Now when you win the weekly you also win an entry into this tourney. Like I said though my biggest concern is giving awayan ipod and only having 8 players show up, 4 of which would probably be us.

Although for the first one I will roll the dice and provide the Ipod to get it kicked off. We already 70 players today with 10+ hours until start time. It should be a great week.

One thing to consider is that Paradise already has a number of buy-in tournaments that could possibly be featured in the weekly password mailings. Perhaps these would entice some of the ParadiseIpods players to deposit and become real money players.

Perhaps some type of partnership with another tournament in order to insure sufficient participation. Maybe someone has an established tourney and would like the idea of a monthly value added Ipod tourney.

I dunno. Just throwing out ideas.

Looks like it's going to be another BIG turnout. Already 100 players with just over three and a half hours to go.

Yea it's going to be a good one this week. I think we NEED to get a real money buy-in going that we can advertise to our players. We are starting to hit the critical mass with well over 100+ players that we could do a $5 buy-in.

I like the idea of promoting the regular buy-ins as well for our players. For example if a player cashes in the xxxxx tourney we will credit your account with an extra $50!

Regarding the Paradise Ipods buy-in tourney should we offer a buy-in to another high profile Paradise tournament or perhaps we just stick with an Ipod. Or we could make it even more intersting by doing some sort of heads up challenge each week for the winner. I dunno, just some random thoughts. It is time to do a buy-in event however.

Also it will be important that us promoting play in it just so we can make sure it fills up.
