Default Quick Windows Question

Hey Guys... quick question for you Windows users out there. My girlfriend wants to turn off aim messenger from starting up automatically when she turns on her computer. She's using Windows XP.

I'd imagine she just has to open the "startup processes" and delete it, but being the Apple fanboy that I am I can't remember for the life of me how to do it.

Any quick suggestions?

Thanks guys,

Bryan

On the newest version of AIM you should be able to go to:

Edit >> Settings >> "Sign In/Sign Out"

There should be a check box with a "Start AIM when Windows starts" option next to it. Make sure it's unchecked and then hit "Apply," and then "Save."

Should remedy the problem.

Cool. Thanks! That worked great acehigh pino. I also figured out how to get into the startup processes and turned it off there too.

Much appreciated!
