Hey everyone

I am looking for a skilled web developer to build a couple of sites for me. I am open to all kinds of proposals. I am a writer and I specialize in content, especially poker content.

I would be more than willing to trade my services for a developers service. I have all the basic knowledge and have built a few sites myself. I just do not have the time to deal with learning as I build right now, (I am nowhere near a professional developer).

I would like to build a couple of sites using Joomla as the CMS.

I wouldn't suggest anyone taking corry up on this offer. I recently bought several articles and they were very low quality. I expressed my concern to him that it looked like either he was using an article spinner or having someone that doesn't understand English write the articles. I was currently waiting for a larger batch of reviews to be finished so I just asked him to please make sure the quality of the next batch was better because I was going to put them on some of my larger sites.

He agreed with me and offered me a $10 discount. He also assured me that he checked all the new articles to make sure there were no mistakes. I received the next batch today and they are even worse. Below is a clip of the PokerStars review I ordered:

I'm actually happy with the content work from Corry and paid for a number of articles, reviews and autoresponders.

I thought it would be unfair to have one unhappy customer with no one leaving any positive remarks, I'm sorry to hear of your experience NewPokerGirl but I am glad to hear that you have received a refund.

I will still be using Corry for more future jobs and I am greatful everything has come under budget to the standards I have set.

Future Lessons in outsourcing work.

- Check testimonials
- Inspect portfolio of previous work
- Set the standard high early
- Agree on budget
- Agree on terms and conditons of service i.e. rewrites if needed.
- Pay in full on completion of work or half up front, half when finished.
- Use Elance or Scriptlance if you are not wanting to use a writer here.

Well, I don't really need a "lesson on outsourcing work". I had him write some articles and they were of a very low quality. I sent him the email below:

Hey, I finally got around to go thru a couple of these and I have noticed several occasions where the wording just didn't sound right, here is an example:

"LuckyAcePoker.com is an interactive gaming website for a variety of poker players. If you are a beginning poker player, join them for an unlimited free practice game."

It sounds like it was written by either a article re-writing program or someone that doesn't understand English. I will go thru the ones you have already sent and fix them but can you please make the 2nd batch I ordered sound as little better because I'm going to put them on some of my higher quality sites. I used to write content so I know how it is....I wrote hundreds of reviews and it got sooo hard to make them sound different from the many I did before that I found myself using oddball words and such. Feel free to write them in a very formal manner or a personal matter if it helps. I really just need these next ones to be high quality..thats why I made them 800+ words hehe.

...and he still sent me garbage that doesn't make any sense. I'm not going to just drop it after he refunded me when I threatened a paypal dispute, especially after he insulted me when I asked for a refund. I believe its my right and duty to to give my review of the services people offer on these forums especially when it is either really good or really bad. Thats exactly what I did, especially since it is very clear that he is just using a content spinner/re-writer.

NewPokerGirls Accusations are completely Untrue. She was not happy with the Content=Fine. I did no such thing as insult her, and the refund was given without any questions asked.

All of my work is guaranteed. If there are problems--I am happy to take care of them. I cannot make everyone happy. Obviously this person was not happy, and I did everything I could to fix the situation.

Still--She threatened, attacked and insulted me in more ways than you could imagine.

Corry has written articles for me. Although I agree that the English is not always the best, I don't see any evidence of article spinner/re-writer.

Hate to bump an old thread, but I just was trying to figure out who I bought two horrible articles from, and it's Corry and he made no attempt to fix and was kinda a prick about it..

Hell, I'll even post the junk he wrote if anyone wants.. Corry, you say you guarantee your work, how about a refund??

Overall, his writing is awful and I'm not sure if it's an article sinner or w/e, or if he just can't write.
