Poker Room Promotion Resources

Hi, i'm wondering if some of you guys can give me some advice on the best ways to keep up to date with the promotions that the poker rooms are advertising - not exclusive ones by affiliates.

Basically i'm saddened to find that the only room i could find that sends a player newsletter was absolute poker , (of the rooms i wish to promote anyhow)

Can someone give me some advice on the most efficent ways to keep up to date with special announcements/promotions by the rooms and things such as reload bonuses, new freeroll tournaments, etc? Thanks

so far i see the best way is to open up the software client of the particular room and they always give you info and dates and shit, i was hoping though that i wouldn't need to download and open software for every room i promote everyday though.

What rooms are you promoting? I find it hard to believe that only Absolute is the only newsletter being sent out, just based on the number of newletters I receive on both the player and affiliate sides.

i tried finding one for pokerstars, full tilt, doyles room, cake, carbon...i couldn't find jack shit. Can you tell me the newsletters you're signed up for. i'm tempted to just promote rooms that have easy ways of finding out the latest news/promotions for players.

Most of the poker rooms have news and promotions directly on their affiliate site or when you log into your account. All the poker rooms have a news or promotions section on their site and that is where I find most of the other poker room's promotions.

In our case, Sunpoker, when you log into your affiliate account, the latest newsletter and promotions are listed for your convenience.

i agree, it would be great to have more date based news/promotion resources for sites. I find the best way is to usuallly open up the poker client and see their specials, although it sucks having to go through all the clients.

i hate going to promotions pages to see "we just added this" and its a page thats been on their for 4 months. it would be nice to have more dates.

We came up with an idea a month ago for rooms to put their latest promotions in a thread to make it easier for everyone. But it didn't happen...

i don't understand why rooms don't actually report the news on there sites for daily, weekly, promotions and create rss newsfeeds with aff links in them....And i'm talking just about promotional news players are looking for, not so and so finished 1st in the ept or so and so just joined the network.

of course for this to work they'd all have be doing it, i wouldn't want a feed or two under a few rooms, making my pages look way different...so i guess it probably wont happen for a while if ever.

Just wanted to add that in my experience most programs do send out a monthly affiliate newsletter featuring all the latest promotions - it might be worthwhile to check with your AM, maybe it's going to your junkmail or being caught by spam filters.

I also work with a few programs that have auto-updating banners, so that whenever a new promotion is launched the banner images on your site are automatically updated to feature the new promo. I'm pleased to give you more info on these programs, just send me a PM
