I don't want to say too much about the presention as I figure plenty of folks will weigh in on this. I'm not crazy about the header but the rest looks pretty good. I thought that the flash area was a little too large but after thinking about it a bit I'm not so sure. A bit of wasted space below the FT banner, not a big deal though.

Anyway what I really wanted to get into here since this site looks like it's been up for awhile is to get into your traffic promotion campaign a bit. Pages like this always seemed to me to be difficult to rank with. If you'd like to share a bit of that maybe we can go into this a bit with you.

Hi-

In some ways I like your site, and in some ways I don't-its seems to have a mixture of strong elements with weak ones.

What I like about it is the way that you use space. The stacked boxes under the flash animation look nice, for example. The interior articles are also nice and roomy.

The things that I don't like are all the jaggies. The way the login sign and featured videos hangs off the main box. The date at the top right is cut off at the top slightly, and there are a couple of buttons next to the date, one cut in half, that don't seem to do anything. The Party Poker sign at the bottom would be better if it was centered.

The article section should be identified as articles, because when you first look at it, its easily confused to be more videos, since it sits right below the video selector, and the pic on top looks like it represents a video pic.

Also, when I look at the login box I wonder what its for. You won't get many takers to create an account if they don't know what they are creating an account for.

All these little things seem to add up to make for a lot of confusion, at least where it concerns the front page.

The Video page is laid out nicely, straightforward. The only thing I would do is center the banner at the bottom.

The last thing is that I would think about changing the black Bluffweb arrow to maybe translucent grey, so it doesn't seem so blotchy.

Anyway, sorry if that seems like a lot of criticism, but the truth is its just a lot of small things to do to make big improvements in the overall level of design coherence. Definitely a lot of potential.

Best of Luck!

yea i agree with pokerropes with the sign in box, if you click on the community box you have got bullet points what your members can do like watch videos etc, you really need to capture the imagination of the user to get past the home page.

I seem to be obsessed with headers, i would try and improve the header with a logo, just so your site can have identity.

Also with that flash, im not keen either, im sure it cant be good serps but ken would know more about this than me :-)

I'd keep flash away from the home page as I was saying...elsewhere it's fine
