Default Input on my site

Hi.

Would love if someone would give me some feedback on www.fish-hunter.net

The site offers a really valueable tool and gives the player much better tableselecting and thus bigger winnings.

My feedback is that this section of the forum is for feedback on websited construction and layout and I'm a little concerned that you're posting this for advertising purposes which would be off topic. I"m going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and review the site anyway

It does look a little bland which many would say is a stylistic preference and I do believe there's something to be said about that so if that's your intention then great, but you may want to generate a little more excitement and also convey a more professional image through adding a little pizzaz here.

The layout should have the benefits of the deal more up front and you shouldn't have to read down this much to try to figure out what the offer is. Your first sentence should tell visitors why they should read on, not just assume they will.

As well you should pay a little closer attention to the spelling and grammar - it's not an absolute necessity but people do notice this and it has a negative impact on your image when it's off.

Overall the offers seem to be splattered on the page too much and you could use a little better organization as well. Try setting off the different offers more graphically.

Hope that helps.

my best advice is - learn coding joomla or use another CMS...

Why is contact and buy-it in latest news? doesn't make any sense.
As KC wrote the site would need some pizza spend some money on a designer for a logo and some nices boxes.

yeh my new sig says it all

I do think the site I linked to is gold for the OP, and he should emulate it as much as possible. It's usable, functional and gets shedloads of traffic.

fwiw, using some of these sites [like ptr] while logged in on some poker sites [ftp, stars] will result in you getting banned for breaching TOS.

interestingly FTP has stopped officialpokerrankings from showing their tourney results / player's stats now too.

Mr Blunt - I like it

FYI, if you're looking for stuff like this that won't get you banned from sites than the table finder feature of Poker Edge is pretty cool, not that it doesn't go against the rooms like this other stuff, however it's undetectable Poker Edge

I agree with the first comment. It needs images or something. It is very plain.

Hell yeah I'm not going to post a link to it just plain Spamming though isn't allowed although if you post a link and it's related to the post then that's not spamming.

The rule on this states "5.1 We want you to share links to your site so others can visit them, this is part of community, but you should not be constantly plugging your portal or a product you promote. 5.2 Some spam is obvious, if the text is irrelevant and the links are plenty, the post will be deleted and the user banned. " So the odd link here and there in a related manner is OK, doing this to the point of abuse isn't.

I'm not sure what you mean about in light of recent events but if you or anyone else has any questions about forum rules that aren't covered to your satisfaction by what's up there now, fire away.

I will say though that the one that people might want to pay attention to a bit more is making things a little too personal and while we're not looking to stifle people needlessly there's been some borderline stuff going on here and there and a lively discussion is fine but we don't want to see any insults or personal attacks either.

So this is what we want to look out for : "3.2 Are you respectfully disagreeing or personally attacking? We like it when people disagree. This is what growth is all about; multiple people with different opinions discussing the facts and coming to new conclusions. This is different than name calling and bickering. If you disagree, state why, you can even cite references but make sure you are respectful . No one is asking you to change your opinion, but think about the other readers of the forum and how they can benefit from intelligent discussion."

By the way I've started a new thread in the rules section for any questions: http://www.pokeraffiliateprograms.co...124#post126124
