Default 50 Poker Site Icons

I have made a set of 50 poker site icons which I am selling to PAP members. The icons are all 60px by 30px and are a great thing to add to your site to spruce it up a bit or in tables for site comparisons.

The icon set is $50 and you will get a zip file with all icons as individual pictures in jpg format. The sale is non-exclusive so more than one person may buy the set, you have full rights to use them on as many of your sites as you'd like however you may not resell or give them away.

For a preview please see below (lines are removed on purchased verion)

If you would like to purchase the icon set please send $50 via Paypal to jpgoldie@gmail.com and I will email the zip file to you as soon as I receive payment or at most in a few hours if I am not online.

If you have any questions, please feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Thanks Cathy! Also, if there are any major ones I have missed that you would need in order to buy the set, just post them here and I will create and include them. Cheers.

Ummm, this sounds pretty illegal to me. You can't sell other people's copyrighted photos and logos. So stealing the logo from the poker site and trying to sell it to us, may get you into quite a bit of trouble.

Hi Trikkur,

I don't know who you are but all the poker sites allow us the use of their images and logos to promote their websites as part of affiliate agreements. I am merely providing a design service to enhance their brand for other affiliates to promote.

If any site has a problem with this at all please PM, although I am sure they will not. As for stealing them, are you kidding? Like I said, i don't know who you are but I would really appreciate you making your points in a concise and respectful way. I highly doubt this would be considered stealing in any way, shape or form.

Thanks,

John

* To add further to my point, I suppose you suggest that all affiliates who have their sites done by a designer and incorporate poker rooms into them are committing a crime?

It is a great idea, but the fact is you are using other people's work to turn a profit are you not. The online poker rooms are not getting a cut of the $50 are they?

The argument that poker rooms allow affiliates to use their logos to promote their brands is a valid one, but does not apply here in my opinion.

You are taking their logo cutting it up a bit and selling it with no percentage of sales going to the poker room like when you use the logos to promote them on your affiliate site.

Not complaining about you doing it, but we just can't say that Trikkur is incorrect here.

Am I wrong?

Sure we can...I am photoshop stupid...like no shit I can copy paste and thats about the extent of it...

So for someone to create logos that I can use on my website than I say go for it. He is providing a service to people like me who cant do it...or possibly those that do not have image editing software. This is no different than an affiliate ordering a site template and asking the designer to make them a table and create the logos for that table which by the way are not custom created for each no affiliate. Most people have paid for the same logos repeatedly. Happens here on a daily basis. Designer gets paid and John is spot on with pricing because the other guys charge the same...

Its a service

Nice idea John

I think Trikkur might have had a point. Truth of the matter is John probably should have asked permission, still can.. ... It's a helluva service though. I've been paid to gather up all those logos, quite often they're just in the affiliate backend.. but a pain to go get.

I've been paid more than John is charging and he did some design work. I personally would have paid 20 for what johns got goin on here, as soon as I opened the thread. I opted to pass for 50, for today.. but felt no need to dirty the thread up with that opinion... Now that it's already a 'tainted' thread..

The tone used, quite specifically the word 'stealing' wasn't exactly conducive to a friendly chat on legalities.. the thought probably never occurred to John. It didn't occur to me either. Guess we don't all think alike. It could save John from a lawsuit, not that I believe for a moment any of those poker rooms will sue because an affiliate advertised for them, that's kinda what we do here..

John could have also been PMed. Its considered a pretty big deal to those of us that provide services for someone to come in and stomp on the thread.

The problem is, though we know how to get quite offended by it, the guy doing the offending may not realize how very offensive he's being..

I usually won't post anything negative in any thread, even the really really dumb ones .. unless I feel like someone is ripping people off and cheating them here on purpose..

But all those politics aside, a little effort in phrasing probably could have saved whatever animosity arrises as a result of this thread
