Poker on TV blog for sale

I'm selling an unmonetized Blogger blog, Poker on TV. Presumably it has some value since I get offers to buy links on it.

Alexa rank is about 472,000, 150K in the US (it's about US TV poker). There aren't any other stats, and I don't know how many feed subscribers there are. PR is 2. There are 143 subscribers to the newsletter on Constant Contact, if there's a way to transfer that and the buyer wouldn't spam.

There's also a guide on how to run the site, written up for my recent unsuccessful attempt to hire someone to run it for me. The plan was to hire someone to write the content, and then I'd monetize the site, move to our own domain and WordPress, etc. The site started as me figuring out for myself what poker there was to watch on TV each week, and it grew from there. It's the only active site in its field, and I think the content is pretty good and comprehensive. I believe most of the poker TV industry reads it (just a brag, I know). I have grown tired of doing the site, though, and it's not fun anymore. I considered improving and monetizing it, as I mentioned, but after my abortive attempt to farm out the content recently I just want to spend my time on other projects. There may be some people who'd want to continue to contribute to the blog, e.g. one person has committed to writing show reviews for it (for free).

Yes, you can transfer Blogger sites: instructions here. I wouldn't be surprised if someone wanted to import the blog into WordPress, though: that had been my plan.

I don't know what it's worth, but I'm taking bids. I have an initial bid of $500 and another PM asking how much I want.

Do you have any idea how many hits the site has been getting per month? Did you ever buy a domain for it that you would include in the sale?

Are you certifying here that this is 100% not duplicate content of any kind? Meaning you didn't post this content (and wont) anywhere else, and you didn't copy any of the posts from other sources?

I'll offer $100 to get the ball rolling. What would I do with the site? Put up a banner or text link to make a little money, and move it to a real domain, for starters

I don't know hits, but you can guess from the Alexa stats.

I wrote all the posts myself, except for one. They're all unique.

There's no domain with it, but I can suggest some good unregistered domain names.

There's already a $500 bid. Selling one link would generate more than the $100 (though I haven't sold any links on it).

heh, that is pretty important.

why don't you signup for Google Analytics www.google.com/analytics and get the stats for a few days and see. Blog traffic is pretty stable, even 3 days worth of stats should be pretty accurate.

If you are getting 300+ hits a day I'm prepared to beat the $500 offer.

Feed readers wouldn't show up in Analytics, would they? Most people read the feed or visit the site, according to a poll I did once. Fewer read the newsletter.
